Do you pay the gold value or the jewelry value?
Plain jewelry is bought at the per-karat prices on our site, multiplied by its net weight. Designer or collectible pieces are appraised separately and often higher.
I'm selling broken jewelry, is it worth less?
No. For non-designer jewelry only the gold matters: karat and weight. Condition does not affect the metal value.
What documents do I need?
Only a police ID card or passport, required by law for every purchase.
How long does the appraisal take?
For ordinary jewelry, a few minutes. Weighing, testing and the offer all happen on the spot, in front of you.
What happens to the stones on my jewelry?
Diamonds and precious stones are appraised separately and added to the offer: they are not “lost” in the weighing.
